SOUTH BEND, IN - Thomas Michael Wozniak, 67, of South Bend, Indiana passed away suddenly on December 9. Tom was born in South Bend to Walter Michael Wozniak and Francis (Strantz) Wozniak. On November 21, 1987 he married Laura Watkins; they were married for 31 years. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2003 after 35 years of service and went on to work for Magnum Security Services as a Commander at the South Bend Medical Foundation. When not working, he spent time with his kids and grandkids, kept busy with home projects, and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He played softball for many years and later umpired for men's softball for over 10 years and 2000 games. He is survived by his wife, Laura; his children, Renae (Mark) Frigo, Amanda (Ken) Hirsch, Jacob (Jennifer) Wozniak, and Aimee (Daniel) Kovach; grandchildren, Hunter and Karlie Kretchmer, Luke and Maggie Frigo, Cairenn, Bronson, and Ayla Hirsch, Samantha and Molly Wozniak; sisters, Judith (Michael) Kitkowski, and Janet Baker; and an aunt, Marge Weiger. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.
