Timothy Lee Turner, 69, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday evening, October 1, 2018. Timothy was born on January 10, 1949 to Donald and Grace (Ryan) Turner.

A lifelong resident of South Bend, Timothy proudly served his country in the US Army and served in Vietnam. After many years of faithful employment, Timothy retired from Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #20. Timothy was also a member of Lydick United Methodist Church, Scottish Rites and also belonged to the Freemasons.

Timothy is survived by his loving daughters, Gretchen Lea Turner of Murphy, North Carolina and Ashley Brooke Turner of South Bend. He is also survived by a brother, Donald Turner. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held in Timothy’s honor on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Lydick United Methodist Church, 26510 Edison Rd, South Bend, IN 46628. Pastor Cindy Uhrich will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Timothy’s honor to Lydick UMC or to Camp Raybird Ministries, P.O. Box 3717, South Bend IN 46619.
