ELKHART, IN - Carole “Judy” Andrea (Fox) LaCrone, 74, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at I.U. Health University Hospital, Indianapolis. Judy was born July 14, 1944 in South Bend, to the late Forrest V. and Kathryn M. (VanScoyk) Fox. Judy was married November 20, 1971 in South Bend, to Frank S. LaCrone; he preceded her in death July 1, 2006.

Judy had worked at Bayer Corporation in the Credit department. Previously, she worked for thirteen years at Target. Judy was currently attending Radiant Life Church in Elkhart.

Surviving are her three daughters she lovingly called her cherubs, Andrea Lynn (LaCrone) Solomon of Elkhart, Valarie Ann (LaCrone) and husband Brian Mann of Elkhart, and Carrie Renay LaCrone of Elkhart; and five grandchildren, Sophia Catherine Solomon and fiance Gary Surface both of Florida, Connor Michael Spry, Jennalee Kathryn Spry, Paige Madison Mann, and Ava Rose Solomon. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Seda Grace and Carter Leone; a sister, Kathy D. Fox of Florida; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Hawn of South Bend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Forrest “Buster”, Donald, and Harold Fox; and one sister, Betty A. Hawn.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana 46614.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor John Utley officiating.

Burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be offered to the Indiana University Health Foundation, 1633 North Capital Avenue, Suite 1200, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Elkhart General Hospital, Indiana University Health Hospital, and to the generous liver donor who gave us twelve extra years with her.
