MISHAWAKA, IN - Christine Keeler, 66, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her home.
Christine was born on January 13, 1952 in South Bend to the late Russel and Margaret (Cobb) Frushour and has remained a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from Riley High School in 1970. Most recently she worked at Martin's Supermarket, Erskine Plaza.
Christine lived for spending time with her lifelong girlfriends, daughters, and grandkids. She spent as much time as she could at the Blair Hills Pool and served for many years on the Recreation Committee. She loved cooking and never showed up at a party without several gourmet dishes. Her craft and cooking sessions with her grandkids brought her great joy. Her passion for Halloween and Christmas decorating will be missed.
Christine is survived by her two daughters, Donna (Scott) Chapla of South Bend and Amanda (Daniel Murphy) Keeler of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Max and Molly Chapla; brother, Neil (Cindy) Frushour of South Bend; and Donald W. Keeler, Jr., the father of their children. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Russel and Margaret Frushour; sister, Suellen Petersen; and brother, Bruce Frushour.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held this Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Home Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46614.
