James Lee Hollister

James Lee Hollister, 63, of South Bend, IN passed away at 10:35 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He was born on August 5, 1950 in South Bend, IN to the late Jacque and Marion (Pennell) Hollister. On April 13, 1974 in Akron, OH he married the former Louetta Dawson.
Mr. Hollister is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Louetta Hollister of South Bend, IN; son, Eric Lee Hollister of Fishers, IN; two sisters, Carol (Craig) Rothe of Vallejo, CA and Debra (Steve) Broshar of Carmel, IN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Hollister on October 10, 1999.
Mr. Hollister lived most of his life in South Bend. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp. He currently was employed as the Vice President of Operations at Northern Electric Company, South Bend. Mr. Hollister attended Granger Community Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
