Jimmie’s wife, Pat, called on 6/13/2022 and said Jimmie passed away on 8/6/2020. The funeral home was: Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc., McAllen, TX. She said there was no obituary and the funeral home made no mention of his death.

Jimmie’s parents were: John Thomas, father, Margaret I. Benninghoff, mother. They were married on 3/23/1931. John Thomas passed away on 12/20/1955 and Margaret married Russell W. Bennitt on 10/4/1958. He passed away on 7/11/2002. Margaret passed away on 1/2/2009 at the age of 96.

Jimmie married Patricia A. Steinbrunner on 10/17/1959. They had three sons: Mark J. Thomas, Brent A. Thomas and Jimmie J. Thomas II.
