Raymond V. "Curly" Davis, 84, passed away on January 17, 2019, at 7:46 pm, at Lima Memorial Health System, in Lima, OH.

Raymond was born May 31, 1934 in Belle Center, OH, to the late Clinton and Minnie (Grow) Davis who both preceded him in death.

He was formerly married to Linda Jane Davis of Waynesfield, OH.

Ray served in Korea in the US Army as a Specialist 3rd Class, receiving an honorable discharge. He was a career truck driver, retiring from Central Transport, in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a member of the Indian Lake Moose and VFW. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.

Ray is survived by his children, Paige Ellen Davis of Tampa, FL, Leigh Ann (Gary) Barnes of Lakeview, OH, Allison Rae (Gerald) Gibson of Russells Point, OH, sister, Shirley (Valaire) DeCook of South Bend, IN, grandchildren, Riley Huffer of Huntsville, OH, Brady Barnes of Lakeview, OH, Meadow McCullough of Russells Point, OH, Kenton (Shelby) Gibson, of Lima, OH Grant Gibson of Columbus, OH and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, William "Bill" (Mittie) Davis, George (Jean) Davis, John (Ruth) Davis, Robert Davis, Virgil Davis, Pauline Davis, Ethel "Kate" Palmer, Frances (Don) Mills, Elsie (Patrick) Riley, and Betty (Robert) Dytom.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Rev. Bryan Bucher to officiate the service. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville, OH following the service.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL with viewing one hour prior to the service.
