Marilyn Joyce (Martindale) Bayman

Marilyn Joyce Bayman, age 89, of South Bend, passed away on Friday,September 16th, 2022.
Marilyn was born March 24, 1933 in Plymouth, IN to the late Edgar and Mary (Hoham) Martindale and lived in South Bend most of her life. She and husband Al Bayman also wintered in Naples, FL. Marilyn worked aside her husband in their family business, the former Bayman Builders, South Bend, for 30 years
On March 24, 1951 in South Bend she married Alvin Bayman who preceded her in death on March 9, 2016. Marilyn is survived by two daughters, Brenda Springer of South Bend, and Victoria (Brent) Wolter of Kalamazoo, MI; one son, John Bayman of Cookville, TN; seven grandchildren, Missy Taylor, Brandon Wolter, Sasha Kasten, Johnny Bayman, Brittania LaRochelle, Amy Britt and Kevin Bayman, and six great grandchildren, Gabbi Foteh, Darby Kasten, Remington Kasten, Shawn Bayman, Jocey Bayman and Alice Britt; one great-grandchild Hope LaRochelle.
A private service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, at the Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer Chapel, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. A public visitation will be held for family and friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Marilyn loved gardening, flowers, spending time with family and trips to Disney World and in Florida on the beach surrounded by palm trees.
