SOUTH BEND - Mary Ann Harmacinski, 78, residing in South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:20 PM Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Regency Place of South Bend. She was born on December 9, 1931, in South Bend, IN, to George and Mary Ann (Nogal) Hafner, and remained a lifelong resident. Mary Ann married Bert William Haramacinski, who preceded her in death in April 1988.
Mrs. Harmacinski is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Bruce Guyberson of South Bend; three grandchildren, Adrian Guyberson, Alexander Guyberson and Aaron Guyberson; two great-grandchildren, Mason and Audrey Guyberson; and her sister, Joan Greene of Indianapolis, IN.
Mary Ann retired from Indiana Bell as a telephone operator after 43 years of service. She was a member of Pioneers for Indiana Bell.
Mary Ann graduated from Riley High School, South Bend. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.
