Loretta Jean (Wasoski) Royce

Loretta J. Royce, 88, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021 in South Bend, Indiana. Loretta was born on May 3, 1932 in Roseland, Indiana to the late Albert and Irene (Polklinkowski) Wasoski. She married Arthur E. Royce who preceded her in death on January 15, 1993. Loretta was also preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Eldonna Cabanaw, and two brothers, Charles and Jimmy Wasoski. She is survived by three brothers, Richard Wasoski of South Bend, Indiana, Kenneth (Dixie) Wasoski of South Bend, Indiana, Frederick (Carol) Wasoski of South Bend, Indiana, one sister-in-law, Mimi Wasoski of Pennsyvile, New Jersey, and many nieces and nephews.
Loretta was a key punch operator at Bendix-Allied. After her retirement Loretta and Art purchased Morning Sun Resort, Chetek Wisconsin from 1975-1994. All of her family and friends have many wonderful memories with her. She was a long-time member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
A visitation will be held on Sunday April 11, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend, Indiana. A rosary will be prayed at 3:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday April 12, 2021 at 11:00 am in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed via Corpus Christi Catholic Church Facebook Livestream. Memorial Contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or Tradition Health Hospice in Loretta’s honor. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com
