Patricia Margaret (DuBois) Vail

 MONROE Patricia M. Vail, 81, of Monroe, formerly of Somerset, died Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in South Bend, Indiana, she resided in Somerset for 45 years before moving to the Rossmoor community nine years ago. After assisting her husband with his architecture business, she had worked for many years in marketing with various companies including GAF in New York City and Falcon Safety Products in Mountainside. Pat loved sewing, musicals and ,was involved in acting with several community productions in Somerset.

She had been active with the St Matthias Church PTO in Somerset, and in her later years she was an active member of the Nativity of Our Lord Church in Monroe. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas A. Vail, in 2005. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Catherine Kough and her husband, Walter Kough of Fallentimber, Pa., and Pegi Vail and her husband, Melvin Estrella of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her son, Thomas Mark Vail and his wife, Leslie Vail of Manchester, N.J.; four grandchildren, Chelsea Vail, Courtney Vail, Connor Vail and Cole Vail, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday, September 6, at the Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, Monroe. Committal services will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of Our Lord Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe, NJ 08831. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Ave., Highland Park
