Rosalie A. (Jones) Wolf

March 19, 1927 – February 6, 2021

Rosalie A. Wolf of Ridgefield, died peacefully in her home, on February 6, 2021, at the age of 94. She was born on a family farm in Rochester, Indiana on March 19, 1927, daughter of Cecil and Doris Jones. She was married at the University of Notre Dame in 1947 to Charles J. Wolf and was a loving mother to eight children, an attentive grandmother to seventeen and a great grandmother to ten.

She graduated from Riley High School in South Bend and achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse in 1975 with her LPN from Norwalk Hospital School of Nursing. She worked on their Med/Surg floors until 1992. She loved being a nurse and related many memorable experiences. She is still fondly remembered by some of the staff there.
She delighted in visiting with her children and all her grandchildren. This was her greatest joy. She was an expert seamstress and a china painter and loved her Yorkshire Terriers. She was a die-hard Yankee Fan, and enjoyed camping on Cape Cod, traveling, reading, water aerobics, and fine cuisine.

She is survived by her children and spouses: Kathleen (Michael) Bolon, Michael (Francine) Wolf, Timothy (Patricia) Wolf, Charles (Michelle) Wolf, Patricia (Howard) Tice, Thomas Wolf, Brian (Cheryl) Wolf, and Kelly Wolf. As well as her grandchildren and their spouses: Maureen and Kevin Bolon, Danielle Wolf, Lindsay Wolf, Colin, Travis and Dylan Wolf, Emily Lyons and Rebecca DeGroote, Evan, Eric and Connor Tice, Cassidy and Brandon Wolf, Ryan and Garrett Wolf, and Molly Monahan, all of her great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Suzanne, cousins Sandy and Helen, many nieces and nephews and her best friend Barbara.

She is predeceased by her husband Charles and her brother Robert.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church in Ridgefield on November 13, 2021 at 1pm. Her burial will be in her family gravesite at Oddfellows Cemetery in Rochester, In
