NORMA KAY RUDER GRANGER, IN Norma Kay Ruder, 87, of Granger, IN passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Hospice House, South Bend, IN. Norma was born September 13, 1927, in Bedford, Indiana, to the late Lova and Phebe (Ogden) Polley. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Molnar.

On June 25, 1961, in Harvey, IL, Norma (Polley) married Louis Ruder who survives; along with two sons: Ronald (Kristin) Ruder, of Andover, Minnesota, and Richard (Allyson) Ruder, of Walkerton, IN; three grandchildren: Anne, Stephanie, and Ross Ruder; along with several nieces.

Norma was a graduate of Riley High School in 1945.

She was a former member of First Christian Church of South Bend, Presbyterian Players, and South Bend Press Club. Norma had worked at WSBT, First National Bank, in Blue Island, IL, modeled shoes in New York, and taught dancing at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in South Bend.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18th, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. In Norma's memory, contributions may be made to donor's choice.
