Mona (Merrick) Ferguson
MONA FERGUSON LANSING, IL Mona E. Ferguson (nee Merrick), age 90 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. She is survived by her daughter: Lisa M. Ferguson; and sister-in-law: Gertrude Ferguson. Mona was preceded in death by her husband: Wallace "Fergie" in June, 2014; and parents: Glenn and Olive Merrick.
Funeral services for Mona will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Friends are invited to visit with Mona's family on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ferguson had worked as an Executive Secretary at the Simmons Mattress Co. in Munster, IN until they closed. She was a huge dog lover, amazing cook, and voracious reader her entire life. She used her Kindle every day. www.schroederlauer.com
