Terry "Fuzzy" L. Hoof
September 5, 1947 ~ January 24, 2023 (age 75)
Terry L. “Fuzzy” Hoof, 75 of Niles, passed away in St. Joseph Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Fuzzy was born in Benton Harbor on September, 5 1947 to the late Thomas and Bette (Porman) Hoof.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Fuzzy is also preceded by his long time and loving companion of 30 years, Pamela Sue Modlin on November 26, 2022.
Fuzzy is survived by his brother, Jerry Hoof of Tuscan, AZ. children; Sandra (Scott) Herczeg of Mishawaka, Scott (Esther Miller) Hoof of Nappanee, Rene (Doug) Emerson of South Bend, grandchildren; John Hoof of Baytown TX, Kaitlyn Herczeg of Mishawaka, Jordan Herczeg of Mishawaka, Casey Miller of Nappanee, Lorelle Miller of Nappanee, Lester Emerson of South Bend, Ylena Emerson of South Bend, Henry Emerson of South Bend and a Great Grandchild, Isla Herczeg of Mishawaka.
Fuzzy had worked at several manufacturing plants in the area. He also enjoyed taking rides on his Harley with Pam. Fuzzy loved to go fishing and working on cars. He was proud of his 50 Mercury. Fuzzy was proud of his yard and feeding the squirrels.
In keeping with Fuzzy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. Niles.
