Terry L Clark

May 15, 1952 - March 4. 2002

He was born May 15. 1952. in South Bend, Ind., the son of Roosevelt and Viline Clark. Terry departed this life on Monday evening, March 4, in South Bend's Memorial Hospital. Terry was a lifelong resident of South Bend He attended the South Bend school system and graduated from Riley High School in May 1971. As a young man Terry committed his life to Christ and attended New Testament Baptist Church.

Terry worked for six years as a correctional officer with the Michigan City Correctional Facility. He was employed by Bendix Corp./Honeywell until his retirement in September 2000. after more than 25 years of service. Terry met Peggy Brown in 1968 and they were married in 1972. The were the parents of four children, three daughters and a son. He was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt Clark; a brother, Roosevelt Clark Jr.; and by a sister, Martha Clark. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Peggy: daughters, Nikki (Carlis) Harris, Jermisha Clark and Chiante Clark, and his son, Terrence (Lakisha) Clark, all of South Bend. He is also survived by his mother, Viline Flenoy and stepfather, the Rev. Charles Flenoy of South Bend: sisters, Delores and Valerie Clark. and Sue Peck of South Bend; and brothers, Kenny (Anika) Thompson, Louis, Melvin (Kim), Jerome (Debbie), Danny (Gladys), Ricky, Wayne (Ruth), Rodney (Stephanie) Clark and Samuel Wells of South Bend; his paternal grandmother, Irene Hobbs; and two grandchildren, Jalen Stuckey and Kyah Harris of South Bend along with a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom were very dear to him and will miss his humor and smile.

Terry, dad, brother, uncle and friend, we loved and will miss you The funeral ceremony will be at noon on Saturday, March 9, with visitation one hour before in Progressive M.B. Church, 1232 E. Bronson Street, South Bend. Pastor Stephen Reed officiating. Arrangements through the Cobb Funeral Home. 3525 S. Michigan Street. South Bend.
