Thomas W. Megyese
October 9, 1952 ~ July 28, 2023 70 Years Old
Thomas W. Megyese, 70 years old, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Tom was born on October 9, 1952 in South Bend to the late Stephen and Marian (Diedrich) Megyese. He has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend. On July 17, 1976 in South Bend, Tom and Darlene G. Janizak were united in marriage.
Along with Darlene, his loving wife, Tom is survived by their two sons, Devin Megyese and Todd (Ashley) Megyese. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Megyese. Along with his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Woodcox, and two brothers, Stephen and James Megyese.
Tom owned Professional Home Inspections for twenty years and worked in residential construction for over thirty years previously. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Tom liked cooking, grilling, and testing out new recipes.
Per Tom’s wishes, there will be no services. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tom Megyese may be donated to ProMedica Hospice, 230 W. Catalpa, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
