Jean M. (Eichorst) Rajski

SOUTH BEND - Jean Marie (Eichorst) Rajski went to be with her Lord, suddenly and quite unexpectedly, on Friday, March 25, 2011, in her home. Jean was born to the union of Gustave and Angelia (Vanderbeck) Eichorst on July 24, 1951, in South Bend, IN.

Jean graduated from Riley High School, class of 1969.

Jean was united in marriage to Dennis Rajski and from this union she was blessed with her daughter, Dawn Marie Rajski. Jean was preceded in death by her parents. Jean is survived by her daughter, Dawn Rajski of South Bend, and a brother, Daniel Eichorst of Ft. Myers FL. She is further survived by her former husband, Dennis Rajski of South Bend, several stepchildren, and many friends who will miss her.

Jean worked for St Joseph County offices and most recently at the University of Notre Dame. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jean's life will be celebrated on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at 7 p.m. in New Apostolic Church, 5602 S. Ironwood, South Bend, IN, followed by a social gathering in the church. Pastor Dennis Spriggs will officiate. A memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank-South Bend, to assist her daughter with final arrangements.
