Daniel D. Perry, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 19th at his home in Mishawaka, IN surrounded by his family.
Daniel was born November 12th, 1950, in South Bend, IN to the late Cecil and Lillian Perry. On July 7th, 1990, he married his wife Sara (Hall) Perry. He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 33 years, his 3 children Julie (Ross) Smith of Granger, Jodie (Kenny) Russell of Granger, Spencer (Brianna) Perry of Mishawaka, and brother Gordon “Mik” Perry of South Bend. Also surviving are his 6 grandchildren that were his pride and joy, Connor (Lizzie) Russell, Keirstin Smith, Maddy Russell, Brady Smith, Emma and Easton Perry.
Daniel was a 1969 graduate of Riley High School and was a long time resident of Mishawaka. He had a successful sales career, spanning 41 years, primarily in the HVAC industry.
Daniel enjoyed a good joke, never met a stranger, shared his love for the Lord, and loved his family and friends with his whole heart. When he entered a room, he always had a smile for everyone and made you feel like you knew him for years. He was known for his stories, pride in his Italian heritage, his passion for collecting, and loved to reminiscence. Daniel’s love was unconditional. His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Friends may visit with the family from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, January 24th, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A funeral service for Daniel will be held at 1pm in the funeral home.
