Douglas Carter Pierce, 70, of Granger passed away Saturday May 21, 2022. Douglas was born July 6, 1951, in Berwyn, IL to the late Paul J. Pierce and Marjorie Wright Pierce. Doug was also preceded in death by his sister, Jeanine Pierce.
On June 30, 1990, Doug married Kimberly Sue Rodgers in South Bend who survives him. He is also survived by his brothers Brad (Cheng-Chee Koh) Pierce of Milpitas, CA and Greg Pierce of Portland, OR.
Douglas graduated from Riley High School in 1969 and went off to college to Graduate with his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1973. He spent most of his career working in Information Technologies and was currently working at First Source Bank.
