Sheila M. (Ross) Marsh

SOUTH BEND - Sheila Marie Marsh, 56, expired unexpectedly on Monday, October 25, 2010 in her parent's home. Sheila was born December 4, 1953 to Ollie W. Sr. and Corine Ross in South Bend, Indiana. She was the fifth of eight children.
She graduated from Oliver Grade School and Riley High School. She also graduated from the Practical Nursing Program at Ivy Tech in 1974.
She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in South Bend for several years and various nursing homes before moving to Maryland. She moved back to South Bend in 2009 to help her sister care for her ailing father. Sheila married Andrew Marsh in May of 2001.
A daughter, LaReca Dionne Marsh was born from that union. Sheila is survived by her mother, Corine Ross; her husband, Andrew Marsh; and a daughter, LaReca Marsh. Also surviving are three sisters, Sharon Ross, Shirley Ross and Claire Ross; four loving brothers, Ollie W. (Darien) Ross, Michael Ross, James Ross and Anthony (Stephanie) Ross; one step-daughter, Doneta Marsh; one step-son, Michael Marsh; one step-grandson, Reggie; and one step-great-granddaughter, Reaina; three nieces; and one nephew; and her loving pet "Snoop." Additional survivors are her aunt, Mattie J. (Joseph) Dukes; her best friends, Joyce and Ronald Evans of Maryland; and Jeanette and Fred Prince and their daughters, Para, Patrice and Pethany Prince; four sisters-in-law, Rochelle Marsh, Mary Marsh, Maxcine Kitchen and Marva Genyard.
Sheila's father, Ollie W. Ross Sr. preceded her in death in August of 2009.
Services for Sheila Marie Marsh will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1862 N. Olive Street, South Bend, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and then service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
