Tomas N Gonzalez, 49, of South Bend IN passed unexpectedly on April 7, 2023, after complications due to a fall. We are devastated by this loss and completely unprepared.
Born on February 26, 1974, to loving parents Herminia Arizpe (Belisario Arizpe) and Nicolas Gonzalez, Tomas Gonzalez immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. Tomas graduated Riley High School in 1992 and went on to attend Ball State University.
Tomas was a loving uncle to Ariana Gonzalez, Jacob Link, Joshua Link, Rudy Gonzalez, Cassandra Link and adored his family. Tomas was passionate about music and dancing, he was passionate about car audio electronics which earned him the nick name “Walkman”, he was a firm believer in religion. His presence is sorely missed, and his loss is deeply felt.
Tomas is predeceased by his father Nicolas Gonzalez, His grandparents Basilio and Angela Hernandez, paternal grandmother Guadalupe Rocha, and Grandfather Nicolas Gonzalez Sr. He is survived by his mother Herminia Arizpe, stepfather Belisario Arizpe, brother Rudy Gonzalez, stepsisters Patricia, Lydia, and Pamela Arizpe, loving aunts Oralia Blad, Sonia Borrego, and Esperanza Bocardo, many loving cousins, and great nieces and nephews, and a godson Gerardo Mascorro III.
Viewing will be held from 4pm-6pm on Monday April 17, 2023, in Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN 46614. Funeral Service at 11am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in the Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
