Marc Carmichael (1962)

Jim was a great friend and classmate (president of our class of 1962) and all who knew him will be deeply saddened by his loss. Memories include his ready smile, happy disposition and prowess on the Wildcat basketball and golf teams.  His life seemed to revolve around Ewing Avenue -- he lived a block from Riley, learned golf at Studebaker golf course and worked there part time all through school. His obituary tells of a life well lived. I'll be thinking a lot about him and the laughs we shared in days to come. A good guy.

Marc, thanks for your generous tribute. R. H. S loomed large in Jim's life, given his connection to that other Jim, his bro in law...Jim Fenn. Rest in peace.

I have so many good memories of Jim from our time together in grade school through our years at Riley. If you could use the term "Real People" that is Jim. RIP old friend.
