Carol died in 2006, a well recognized international artist. She traveled extensively in China and Tibet and her abstract works are collected. Carol and Pat Erler and I were an art trio in the class of 1959, with quiet Carol pursuing her dream most successfully. Carol spoke in such a quiet whisper it was hard to hear her, but she was a lovely soul and I had an unspoken crush on her (and decades later was told by a mutual friend, long after her passing, that she'd felt likewise).
