Fort Gratiot - 76, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021.
She was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 13, 1944, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Frances) Rojics.
Mary Ann married Johnnie Johnson on June 6, 1963, in South Bend, Indiana.
Mary Ann graduated from Riley High School class of 1963. After graduation, she worked as a worship leader, played the organ, sang in the choir, and taught adult Sunday school. She loved traveling and traveled all over the world on mission trips helping needy people and pastors. She influenced hundreds of lives teaching and speaking at conferences and church services. She held Bible studies and prayed for people daily.
Surviving in addition to her husband Johnnie are her children, Angie (Bill) Faber of Grand Rapids and Chad (Kelly) Johnson of Kimball; grandchildren, Faith and Anna Faber, Courtney, Jeremy, Wesley, and Finley Johnson, Ashley and Gabe Easton; sisters, Judy (Ron) Fletcher of Niles and Sharon Sanders of Port Huron; mother, Mary Rojics of Port Huron; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Alicia Easton of Fort Gratiot. She passed away on February 14, 2018.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home-Hancock Street, Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Phil Whetstone of Colonial Woods Missionary Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fort Gratiot. Those who wish to watch the live-streamed service can do so by visiting her obituary on the funeral home website at 12:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be, Chad Johnson, Bill Faber, Ron Fletcher, Tom Higgins, Dimaggio Johnson, and Rick Barns.
