Virginia L. (Moore) Latosinski

GRANGER - Virginia L. Latosinski, 80, of Granger, IN, passed away at 8:04 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Virginia was born on November 25, 1928, in South Bend, IN, to J. Mack and Helen Moore, and was a lifelong resident. She retired from Whitcomb and Keller Mortgage Company where she had been employed for 20 years.
On May 15, 1946, in Holy Cross Church, as Virginia L. Moore, she married Richard H. Latosinski, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Linda Gebhart of South Bend; a son, Larry (Rosemary) Latosinski of Brighton, MI; five grandchildren, Angela Friend, Krystal (Justin) Wheelis, Aaron Friend, Jim (Rebel) Friend and Jerry Latosinski; three great-grandchildren, Katie Friend, J.J. Friend and Cody Lawson; a brother, James (Hortense) Moore of Indianapolis; a niece, Janice (Mark) Davidson, and a nephew, Jimmy (deceased), and his wife, Erin Moore.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, August 26, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon on Wednesday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home.
Virginia was a 1946 graduate of Riley High School and was a member of St. Pius X Parish. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and working in her yard. She loved her Boston Terrier, "Jamie." To send online condolences, please visit Kaniewski.com.
