Dorothy J. (Wozniak) VanRent

Dorothy J. VanRent Dec. 19, 1928 - Sept. 21, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Dorothy J. VanRent, 86, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away on Sept. 21, 2015, at her home. The daughter of the late Hubert J. Wozniak and Mildred (Tisdel) Wozniak was born on December 19, 1928, in South Bend, Indiana. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Gerard A. "Van" VanRent, and a sister, Dolores McCann.

Dorothy was a graduate of Riley High School and Michiana College of Commerce in South Bend, IN. She was the former president of the South Bend Chapter of Women's AGLOW Fellowship. She was a member of Life Fellowship Church in Bowling Green, KY, and was a woman of prayer and service.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathy (Rick) Noto of Memphis, TN, and Sharon Salata of Bowling Green KY; two grandchildren, Alex and Amanda Salata of Bowling Green; a niece and three nephews in South Bend, IN.

Visitation will be in the chapel at Highland Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, with a graveside service following at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Hosparus, 101 Riverwood Ave., Bowling Green, KY 42103; or Christian Broadcasting Network, 977 Centerville Turnpike, Virginia Beach, VA 23463.
