TOWNSEND, Diane S., age 75, of Spring Hill, FL died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at her home. She was born in Detroit, MI and came to the area 33 years ago from Garden City, MI. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She is survived by sons: David Schlum and Daniel Schlum, both of Inverness, FL; daughter: Vicki Hughes of Spring Hill, FL; brothers: Thomas Worden; Dennis Hormel and Ronald Hormel; sister: Janet Marwick, all of Michigan; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 4-5:00pm, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel with services beginning at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.
