Paula G. (Hartman) Snyder

PAULA G. SNYDER, 63, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. She was born in South Bend, the daughter of Marjorie (Reed) Hartman and the late Oren Hartman. She received her bachelor's degree at Purdue University. She was a teacher's aide at Parkhill Learning Center, New Haven before retiring. Paula was also a volunteer coordinator of the Fort Wayne Children's Choir.

In her youth she was active in Campfire Girls, 4-H, and synchronized swimming at her high school James Whitcomb Riley, South Bend.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Paul) Woods of Leo and Amy Snyder of Fort Wayne; mother, Marjorie Hartman of Cape Coral, Fla.; and brothers, Bruce (Carol) Hartman and Craig Hartman both of Cape Coral, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Snyder; and her father, Oren Hartman. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
