SOUTH BEND - A memorial service for Bill McCrackin, 67, of Richmond, TX, was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 30, in Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, Rosenberg, TX. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 29, in the funeral chapel Bill was born April 13, 1940, in Winamac, to Charles McCrackin and Martha Zimpleman McCrackin. He passed away July 25th in Houston.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and by his grandson, Christopher McCrackin.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen McCrackin; children, Terry McCrackin and wife, Belinda, Craig McCrackin, Jan McCrackin, Bill Elliott and wife, Debbie, Kelly McCrackin, Terri Krauss and husband, Philipp, Steve Elliott and wife, Wilmel; a sister, Ruby Abraham; a nephew, Donald Abraham, and wife, Julie, and family; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and many friends.

He was a 1958 graduate of Riley High School.
