LAPORTE - Jamie Marie Wagers, 32, of LaPorte, IN, formerly of South Bend, IN, passed away Monday morning, October 14, 2013, in her home. She was born on June 15, 1981, in South Bend, IN. On June 17, 2000, in South Bend, IN, she was united in marriage to Jeremy M. Wagers.
Jamie is survived by her husband, Jeremy M. Wagers of LaPorte, IN; daughter, Megan Wagers; two sons, Noah Wagers and Nicholas Wagers; two stepsons, Austin & Joshua Wagers; mother, Linda (David) Frick of South Bend, IN; father, James (Sue) Mason of GA; stepbrother, Mark (Ashley) Frick of Elkhart, IN; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Hicks of Farmington, NM; and step-paternal-grandparents, Robert & Betty Frick of South Bend, IN. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Candice A. Mason, on February 3, 2006.
Jamie was a graduate of Riley High School.
She had lived in LaPorte for the last six years, coming from South Bend, IN. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed music and playing different instruments. Jamie loved her husband, children and family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Jamie Marie Wagers may be offered to the family for a trust to be established for Jamie's children, c/o Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S.
