John W. Hatfield, 54, passed away at 10:03am Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in his residence.

John was born on June 10, 1966 in South Bend to Robert and Judith (Basker) Hatfield. He was the owner of Certified Home Inspections for 20 years and served on the Board of Home Inspectors for the state of Indiana. John was an avid pilot who was inspired by his father Bob, and passed this passion on to his son Andrew. He also was a lifelong Notre Dame fan, as well as a huge Cubs and Bears fan.

Surviving are two daughters Marissa (John) Good and Natalie Hatfield both of Fort Wayne, two sons Andrew Hatfield of South Bend and Joshua Hatfield of Fort Wayne, two sisters, Susan Husen and Patty Lubelski and a sisters-in-law Jenny Hatfield and Jenna Hatfield. John was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Gregory, Donald, and James Hatfield, and brother in law Mike Husen.

Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue from 11:00am to 3:00pm Services will be held at 3:00pm with burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
