Charles R. Farrell

SOUTH BEND — Services for Charles R. Farrell, 63, of 814 S. Dun-dee St., who died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness, will be at 10 am. Tuesday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Farrell was a machinist for the former Wheelabrator-Frye Corp., Mishawaka.

He was born July 10, 1928, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. He married Alice Balcerzak She died in 1964.

He is survived by a daughter, Renee Spier of Three Rivers; a step-grandchild; three step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ceceilia Golatz of South Bend, Dorothy Tekker of Osceola, and Elaine DeNeve of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Francis of South Bend and LeRoy of Elkhart.

He was a Korean War veteran.
