SOUTH BEND — Thomas Jack Arthur Keiser, 65, of Ballwin, Mo., formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in University Hospital, St. Louis, of natural causes. Mr. Keiser was a history professor.

He was born June 4, 1930, in South Bend and had lived in Ballwin less than five years. Sur-viving are two sisters, Rita Ann Keiser of Narragansett, RI., and Judith J. Dahlberg of Florence, Ore.; and two brothers, John E. of Las Vegas and Beehler of Granger.

He served in the U.S. Army as a historian. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Schrader Chapel, Ballwin.

Burial will be in National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Mo. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Noblesville Southeastern Public Library, 1 Library Plaza, Noblesville, IN 46060.
