Margaret Lenore Muller

July 15, 1922 - April 9, 1998

 

Mrs. Margaret L. Muller, 75, residing on East Victoria Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, in her home.

Mrs. Muller was born on July 15, 1922, in Momence, Ill., to the late Edward and Edna (Samuel) Cooke, and had lived in this community all of her life.

On Jan. 19, 1946, in South Bend, she married John J. (Jack) Muller. He passed away on Feb. 18, 1997.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Patricia M. and David Gill, Karen S. and Douglas Block and Mary M. and Bennie Thomas, all of South Bend; a son, John E. Muller, also of South Bend; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and by a sister, Mildred Bersell of California.

Mrs. Muller was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral and the Rosary Society of the church.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Cremation will take place with burial at a later date.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Muller may be given to the St. Joseph County Humane Society.
