Ruby M. (Feiser) Reith

Ruby M. Reith, 82, of Greer, S.C., died on Sunday, Dec. 17, in the National Health Care Nursing Home, Greer. She was a former resident of South Bend, Ind. Ruby was born on Feb. 9, 1918, in South Bend, to the late Oscar and Mary (Morgan) Feiser. On April 25, 1937, in South Bend, she married Paul H. Reith Jr., who pre-ceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard; and by two brothers, Richard Feiser and Robert Feiser.
Ruby is survived by a daughter, Sharron (Robert) Horvath of Taylors, S.C.; a son, Paul (Jill) Reith of Wayne, Mich.; eight grand-children, Michele (Greg) Hodges, Michael and Scott Horvath, Mark and Todd (Kerry) Reith, Kelly Reith, Robby (Margie) Reith and Rebecca (Kim) Egendoerfer; seven great-grandchildren.; and by a sister, Mardell Bushaw of Melbourne, Fla.
Ruby graduated in 1936 from Riley High School.
She worked as a sales lady at Robertson's Department Store, retiring in 1980. In 1993 Ruby moved to South Carolina. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1057 in South Bend, and was a member of the College of Regents of the Women of the Moose. Funeral services for Ruby M. Reith will be held at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 22, in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, with the Rev. Ralph Ringenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Visitation was held on Thursday, Dec. 21, in the funeral home.
