Leo, Indiana. Janneth Gerig , 92, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Cedars Nursing Home in Leo. Born in LaPorte, IN, Janneth worked as a Group Claim Adjuster with Mutual Security Life for 10 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Grabill Missionary Church, Women's Missionary International and North Fort Wayne Christian Women's Club.
Surviving are her son, Claude (Margaret) Schrock of Grabill; Daughter, Patricia (Fritz) Clemens of Port Angeles, WA; Step-daughter, G. Arlene (Ray) Harrison of Fort Wayne; Step-daughter, Charlotte A. Warner of Leo; Step-daughter, Lowena M. Gerig of Leo; Sister, Dorothy Lucille Morris of North Liberty, IN; 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren .
Janneth was preceded in death by husbands, Levi R. Schrock, and Abner F. Gerig; Grandson, Timothy Harrison.
Memorial Service is 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Grabill Missionary Church, 13637 State Street Grabill, with Rev. Ray Harrison officiating. Visitation one hour prior.
