Dorothy Alfreda (Stephan) Planck

Dorothy S. Planck,48, of 2828 Erskine Blvd., died early today, Apr 15, 1967, in St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Planck had been associated with the South Bend Community School Corp. for 26 years and had served as secretary to former School Supts. Alex Jardine and Frank Allen. She was born in South Bend on April 24,1918, and had lived here all her life.

She was married to Rex L. Planck on Aug. 2, 1941. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Clara Stephan, and a sister, Mrs. James Houghton, both of South Bend.

Mrs. Planck was a 1940 graduate of Indiana University. She was past president of Psi Iota Xi Sorority, a member of the Indiana University Alumni Assn., the American Assn. of University Women and the Altrusa Club. She was a member of St. Mathew's Cathedral.
