SOUTH BEND — Daniel C. Keppler, 69, of 525 Klinger St., died at 1:35 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital
after an illness. Mr. Keppler was a welder at Studebaker Corp. for 22 years and was in the sales department at Brite-Way for 18 years. He was born Feb. 20, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in South Bend most of his life, coming from Kansas.

On March 25, 1950, in South Bend, he married Flossie Fisher. She survives with a daughter, Mary Lawson of South Bend; three sisters, Josie Kep-pler and Nora Rupert, both of South Bend, and Lois Schmitt of Granger; and two brothers, Harry "Mack" and Robert, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
