Jean M. (Lybarger) Smith

SOUTH BEND - Jean Marie Lybarger Smith, 86, of Largo, Florida passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2012 in Largo, Florida. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 9, 1925 to Ralph and Viola Lybarger.

She graduated from the James Whitcomb Riley High School in 1943, worked for the Studebaker Corporation and later married Robert P. Smith in November 1946.

She is survived by brothers Ralph and George Lybarger and sisters Vera Casto and Rosemary Cox of the South Bend area; daughter Lynn Smith Canada; sons Brian, Dennis and Stephen Smith; and grandchildren Lindsey Smith and Jason and Sabrina Smith.

She was predeceased by husband Robert P. Smith and brother Vaughn Lybarger.
