Madlyn E. (Morehouse) Parker

SOUTH BEND — Madlyn E. Parker, 77, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Monday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Parker was born July 19, 1916, in South Bend, and moved to Sebring in 1986.

On July 18, 1936, as Madlyn E. Morehouse, she married Raymond Parker. He survives, with six sons, Kenny of Fort Myers Beach, Ma., Carl of Mishawaka, and Michael, Daniel, James and Robert, all of Sebring; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, La Von Brown of Mishawaka; and a brother, Jack Morehouse of Toledo, Iowa. A grandchild preceded her in death.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in South Side Baptist Church, Sebring. Cremation will take place. Warren Morris Funeral Home, Sebring, is in charge of arrangements.
