Mary M. (Stuckey) Nurenberg

Mrs. Mary M. Nurenberg, 62, of 1906 E. Ewing, died at 4:40 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a retired employee of the South Bend School Corp.

Mrs. Nurenberg was born on May 14, 1916, in LaPaz and moved to South Bend in 1918. On Oct. 21, 1939 in South Bend, she married Robert Nurenberg. He survives with two sons, Jerry A. of Cairo, Ill., and Thomas N., serving with the U.S. Air Force stationed in Aurora, Colo.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Althea Goss of South Bend and Veva Stuckey of LaPaz, and a brother, Kenneth Stuckey of Berrien Springs, Mich. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. 'Monday at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Rev. Kenneth Schroer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Mrs. Nurenberg was a member of the church; the Women's Service League, and secretary of the Valparaiso University Guild. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmaus Lutheran Church.
