SOUTH BEND - Gerald Frank Fozo, 75, Marion, went to be with the Lord at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, in Colonial Oaks Health Care Center. He was born in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Frank and Emma (Grimm) Fozo. He was a graduate of Riley High School, South Bend.

He married Mary Elizabeth Havlin on June 15, 1957. She survives. He retired as Chief of X-ray at Marion General Hospital. He was a member of the Elks Country Club, American Legion, and attended Sunnycrest Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. He also loved spending time with his family.

Online condolences may be made at www.nswcares.com. Visitation will be today, Nov. 6, from 4 to 8 PM in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN, with Pastor Gary Ashbrooke officiating.

Gerald Frank Fozo is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Fozo of Marion, IN; daughters, Michelle Marie "Mickey" Hadley of Marion, IN, Patricia Ann "Patty" (Randall) McCool of Anderson, IN; son, Philip Frank Fozo, Sr. of Warsaw, IN; brother, Dale (Katie) Fozo of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Brooke Marie (Mike) Campbell of Indianapolis, IN, and Philip Frank Fozo Jr. of Warsaw, IN, Amanda Kay Fozo of Warsaw, IN, Christopher Jay McCool of Anderson, IN, Jordan James McCool of Anderson, IN, Spencer Christian McCool of Anderson, IN, Madison Marie McCool of Anderson, IN; and great-grandchild, Aidan Michael Campbell of Indianapolis, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Christina Gay Fozo.
