Lawrence "Larry" D. Stout, 80, of South Bend, IN passed away at 1:07 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Hospice House. He was born on July 5, 1933 in South Bend, IN to the late Paul and Vera (Feece) Stout. He was united in marriage to the former Georgana (Kirkley) Stout on June 15, 1952 in South Bend, IN.
Mr. Stout is survived by his wife, Georgana Stout; two daughters, Debbie (Mike) O'Brien of South Bend, IN and Jodie (Michael) Greenhoe of Ft. Myers, FL; son, Randy (MaryBeth) Stout of Ada, MI; ten grandchildren, Shelly, Sean, Scott, Kyle, Sarah, Laura, Ryan, Taylor, Noah and Nicholas; six great grandchildren and two sisters, Karin (Robert) Bennington of CO and Nancy (Dan) Bradburn of CO.
Mr. Stout was a lifelong resident. He retired from Wausau Insurance Company in South Bend, IN. He was a Deacon and a longtime member of Community Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Community Baptist Church, 5715 Miami St., South Bend, IN. Private graveside services will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the services.
