Thomas L. Henderson
Thomas Henderson Oct. 31, 1971 - May 21, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Reverend Thomas Lee Henderson, Jr., age 42, a dear husband, son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and nephew, who resided on South Chicago Street, South Bend, IN, passed away in his brother's home on Portage Avenue with his loving wife, family and friends at his side on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, following an extended illness. Thomas was born October 31, 1971, to the union of Sarah May Henderson, who preceded him in death, and Thomas Lee Henderson, Sr., who survives.
He attended James Whitcomb Riley High School (He was awarded his diploma June 10, 1990), South Bend, IN.
On Saturday the fifteenth of August, 1998, Thomas married his best friend, Angela D. Donaldson. Rev. Henderson leaves to cherish his memory a loving strong wife, Angela D. Henderson; his father, Thomas L. (Cynthia) Henderson, Sr.; three daughters, Angelica M., Mylikea N., and Tatyana R. Henderson; four sons, Michael A., Marquis M., Marcel E., and De'Ante L. Henderson; 17 grandchildren; five sisters, Carlotta (Eugene) Williams, Tracy Scott, Lynn Brown, Sharon (Jay) Wade and Raquel Carrillo; nine brothers, Carl (Jo) Phillips, Shawn (Jennifer) Henderson, Christopher (Jessyka) Henderson, Adrian (Latoya) Swanson, Hernando (Katina) Swanson, Quientin Henderson, Damon Henderson, Chauncey (Lisa) Fox and Daryl Henderson; his aunts, Margret Oliver, Gretter Henderson, Bonnie Henderson, Pat Henderson, Veronica Henderson, Necie Davis, Malika and Talanie Henderson, along with a host of nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him.
Along with his mother, Sarah May Henderson, Thomas was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Aruther & Marie Banks, his paternal grandparents, Algerine & Minnie Henderson, his father & mother-in-law, Roy & Charlie May Donaldson, his aunts, Doris Henderson & Katie Fowler, his uncles, Algerine Henderson, Jr., and Anthony Henderson, and two brothers-in-law, William & Gregory Sanders.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in Christ, with burial following at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
