Jamie Daniel Brown

March 4, 1976     ~     July 28, 2023

Jamie Daniel Brown, 47, passed away on Friday July 28, 2023. He was born March 4, 1976 in South Bend. He was the Co-owner of Asphalt Restorations Services, LLC and a former member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 20.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea; son Owen Brown of Peoria, IL and daughter Nora Brown, at home; his father and stepmother, Eric and Deborah Brown of South Bend; brother, Chad Brown of Mishawaka; two aunts, Gale Paldino of Granger, Peggy (Douglas) Burggraf of Osceola and three uncles, Howard “Dino” Paldino of Granger, Larry (Liz) Brown of Bloomington, Kim Brown of Florida. Jamie was preceded in death by his mother Pamela Paldino.

Jamie never met a stranger and could strike up a great conversation with absolutely anyone. He also had a way with children and animals.

Jamie was very artistic in many ways. He won awards in high school for his photography and has even sold some pictures to Getty Images in recent years.

Jamie loved music and listened to an incredible array of different artists. He started going to concerts as a young teenager and has quite the collection of ticket stubs and concert t-shirts. He has a massive collection of vinyl records that he loved to listen to on a vintage record player that he cherished.

Jamie was always ready to do something fun. Riding his Harley was his favorite pastime and he treasured his trips to South Dakota.

More than anything, Jamie was a man that had a deep love for his family and friends. Being a father was the best thing in the world to him. He very much loved his children, as well as his nieces, nephews and many more.

Jamie’s absence is devastating and will be felt for a very long time. He was an organ donor and will now live on by contributing to another’s quality of life and/or furthering medical knowledge through educational studies. We also find solace in knowing that he was doing what he loved the most when he passed away.

A visitation will be held from 1-4pm with funeral services beginning at 4 pm, Saturday August 5th in Kaniewski Funeral Homes, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN 46628. Donations in Jamie’s name can be made to A Rosie Place, 53131 Quince Road, South Bend, IN 46628 or Pet Refuge Inc., 4626 S. Burnett, South Bend, IN 46614.
