Ruth Lee (Bingaman) Miltenberger
July 22, 1932 - April 13, 2013
GRANGER - Ruth Lee Miltenberger, 80, of Granger, passed away during the early morning hours of Saturday, April 13th, in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born in South Bend on July 22, 1932, to the late Lee C. and Alice Hortense (Barcroft) Bingaman. On August 30, 1961, in South Bend, she married Lewis H. Miltenberger, who preceded her in death on October 27, 2006.
Ruth retired from Dodge Manufacturing after many years. She was a member of the Triple R Riding Club. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, and square dancing.
Ruth is survived by her children, Jody (Bruce) Weldy of Elkhart, Jan (Brian) Donath of Edwardsburg, MI, Linda Sikorski (John Sinka) of North Liberty, LouAnn (Don) Susan of Mishawaka and Laura (Ron) Strzelecki of New Carlisle. She is also survived by a sister, Jo (Paul) Schauwecker of Arlington, TX; and a brother, Michael (Lynn) Bingaman of Lakeville, IN. Ruth also enjoyed visits by her numerous grand- and great-grandchildren.
As per Ruth's wishes, cremation is to take place. There will be no visitation or services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Smith Chapel Cemetery. Bubb Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to the Hospice Foundation, 4220 Edison Lakes Parkway, Suite 210, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545. The spirit called to take you home, No longer on this earth to roam. As you ascend into the sky, Your daughters wish you a brave goodbye.
