Ruth (Kovacevich) Dunbar

July 4, 1931 - March 27, 2018

NORTH LIBERTY - Ruth Dunbar, 86, of North Liberty died Tuesday, March 27 in Memorial Hospital following an illness. Mrs. Dunbar was born July 4, 1931 in South Bend to the late Stella (Tharp) and Savo Kovacevich and was a lifetime area resident.

She is survived by nieces, Linda Robertson of Fishers, IN, Violet Goodrick, and Ellen Mathia both of Indianapolis, Deborah Hileman of Parker, CO, Laura Gandy, Rebecca Ferguson, and Kathy William all of South Carolina; nephew, John Hartman of South Bend; and brother, George Kovacevich of Orangeburg, SC.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Miller; husband, Jacob D. Dunbar; and nine siblings.

Cremation will take place, with burial in Crumstown Cemetery. Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. is assisting the family with arrangements. Family and friends may leave email condolences at www.welsheimer.com.
