Wilbur Pinney

Wilbur Pinney, 60, of Deerfield, IL., director of bakery products for IGA in Chicago, and a former South Bend resident, died at 11 a.m. Saturday in. Madison, WI., where, he was visiting. He was born in LaPorte County on March 28, 1912.

He married Mildred Norris in South Bend on Oct. 10, 1935. She survives. Also surviving are two sons. James L. of Arlington Heights, IL., and Jerry C. of Swansea, MA.; a daughter, Mrs. Janet Williams of Madison, WI.; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. William Laramore and Mrs. John Collins, both of Plymouth, and a brother, Donald J. Pinney of Knox.

Private services will be in the Hannekamp Funeral Home, Northbrook, Ill:, Tuesday. Memorial rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist Temple, 77 W. Washington Ave., Chicago, where he was an active member. Memorial donations may be made to the church,

Mr. Pinney wag a former executive vice-president of Sara; Lee-Bakeries, Chica-  go, and a former sales supervisor for Kreamo Bakers, Inc., South Bend.
