Georgia G. (Swisher) Sample

SOUTH BEND — Georgia G. Sample, 90, of W. Fairview Street, South Bend passed away at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 in her residence after a short illness. Mrs. Sample was born on October 28, 1913 in South Bend and was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area.

On Oct. 27, 1961 in South Bend she married Albert L. Sample who preceded her in death. Georgia is survived by two daughters, Georgia (Wally) Holcomb of Osceola, Ind., and Beverly Kaminski of Granger, Ind.; a son, Lee (Sheryl) Baker of Mishawaka, Ind., a sister, Doris Claudon of South Bend. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren who she was so fondly proud of.

Georgia was a very caring, warm, wife, mother and grand-mother who cherished her family. She will not only be sadly missed by her loving family, she will be missed by all who knew her. She was in the first graduating class of Riley High School in 1931.
